Salón Hair Cris

Cristian Salgado wanted to break traditional beauty standards and created his own brand, inspired by a generation that looks for change, innovation, and to challenge the "old way" of doing things.

Hair Cris Salon is the most vibey, different salon in the south of Chile. Cristian wanted to find the perfect place for inspiration, expression and art, where creativity can explode unrestrained and traditional beauty rites are forgotten. 

So we created a white space, full of light and opportunity. We scouted several locations until we found this incredible 1947 house, full of details that made our jaw drop.  With plenty of natural light, big open spaces and a gorgeous stairway with original moulding that we treasured. 

Lighting was a key issue. We needed to avoid color distortion and facial shadows. Our lighting architect did an amazing job. We almost drove the electrician crazy but we finally got to the result we wanted! We used a delicate, soft and elegant color palette that highlights natural light and frames creativity. So any form of art can be displayed.
